Many times we use the term “family tree” in relation to where we come from. It represents fertility, rebirth and eternity. While these cultural legends centered around the sacred Tree of Life may differ in details, the stories they symbolize have similar meanings associated with philosophy and spirituality. *In the book of Genesis there is the reference of two trees in the middle of Paradise in the garden of Eden, the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. In some cultures, the Tree of Life is believed to be the link between the physical world and the spiritual world. The Tree of Life is also a symbol of the interconnectedness of all things. It is a symbol of growth, fertility, and strength. The Tree of Life is an ancient mystical symbol that can be found prehistorically in various cultures around the world, from the Celts of Europe to the Mayans in Central America and in religions such as Buddhism, Norse mythology and even *Christianity.
